The grace from the electrifying night of Hearts of Harris 3.0 would have given the fans who were to attend 4.0, a little hesitation if the same level of energy would be delivered from the artist on the next day since they had not only rocked the stage, instead the huge building of Axiata Arena was captivated with the vibes of Hearts of Harris 3.0. But, the whole team of Hearts of Harris made sure their fans never doubted them at all! Yes, it is because each and every artist came up with a different level of energy the next day that no one could ever imagine. As you step into the grandiose venue, a kaleidoscope of lights dances before your eyes, painting the air with hues of vibrant intensity. The stage of Hearts OF Harris 4.0 stands as a majestic altar, adorned with towering speakers that reverberate with a palpable anticipation. The air was thick with the heady scent of excitement from the thousands of fans.
Performance of our Mannin Mainthargal
The host of local artist performances by Kogu and Vikneswari kept the crowd engaged. The local artist show started with Chende Melam along with a peacock dance performance by Sri Bootha Naatha Chende Melam team. Their energized beat tuned the audience to set their frequency for a stunning night. Following that, the King and Queens of our homeland justified why local songs are unique in their own way. Dj Slick started the night by playing a few iconic songs, Lingges presented two songs, one with music and one without music with his melodious voice. Gayathri recreated the hype of ‘Amsamaana Guluvali’ song from the movie “Mainthan”. Beat Boxer Hardebee and mimicry artist Kathiravan gave an engaging performance, meanwhile, Arvind Raj and Amos Paul presented two of their unreleased songs on stage which received a wide celebration from the crowd. The performances of Kavithai Gundar, Emcee Jesz with their rocking songs and Murthy singing vintage Rajini songs pulled the crowd. Next, even the seating zones at the Axiata Arena became the dance floor for the songs played by Dj Dasss. No one could hold themselves from dancing after hearing the playlist of Dj Dasss. Magnificently, the Arena was filled with sea of flashlights when ‘Usuraiye Tholaichen‘ song was played. The beauty in darkness and rocking voices energized the night. The crowd went wild when he played ‘Yaakai Thiri’.
The next performance was Darkkey’s Sambarock which took the crowd to the next level. It would be unbelievable if someone says that people are vibing for a song that was released literally 27 years ago but it was a fact when the crowd crooned to Darkkey’s ‘Akkamage‘ song. The crowd enjoyed the song as if it is a song fresh from the oven. Moreover, it was Darkkey’s birthday on that day. The moment was cherished by a quick but cute celebration with cake cutting and huge blessings from the crowd. Psychomantra’s rocking performance wrapped up local artist’s show.
The Grand Entry of Dato’ Malik
The man behind the success of the series of Hearts Of Harris arrived at Axiata Arena. His entry into Arena was welcomed with the graceful celebration of the fans along with a video display and special background music, “Dato’ Malik…Dato’ Malik” which was the highlight of the moment. Dato’ Malik was accompanied by Indian actress Anu Emmanuel and Mirnalini during his grand entry. His stunning and stylish look got captured by hundred of cameras.
Dato’ Malik, the Chairman of Malik Streams Production is continuously satisfying Malaysian Indians by presenting Hearts Of Harris concert a number of times to ensure all the fans who were eagerly waiting for the concert, get to experience the magical night at least for once. As a result of his great initiative, four episodes of Hearts of Harris got sold out and still loading. Fans could expect more exciting updates!
Kickstarting the Musical Night
With much pride, once again the team of artists from Hearts of Harris 4.0 welcomed their fans to the epitome of sonic euphoria, a concert so magnificent that it transcends the boundaries of mere entertainment and becomes an unparalleled sensory experience. Krish officiates the lineup of power-packed performances with ‘Unnale Unnale’ song which was widely celebrated by the fans. From solo performances to ensemble pieces, the singers were skilled at captivating the audience with their powerful voices, emotional range, and dynamic stage presence.
The artists of the night were Karthik, Krish, Haricharan, Naresh Iyer, Tippu, Sathyaprakash, Diwakar, Christopher Stanley, Aalaap Raju, Sridhar Sena, Harini, Sharmila, Vishnupriya, Haripriya and the junior Harris, Nicholas. The musicians, masters of their craft, command their instruments with virtuosic precision, their fingers a blur of passion and expertise. The singers delivered captivating performances that left the audience awestruck. They demonstrated their vocal skills by effortlessly hitting high notes, doing difficult vocal runs, and singing while expressing intense emotions. The concert featured solo, duet, and group performances, emphasizing both individual talent and tasteful ensemble work.
‘Yetho ondru unnai ketpen’ song from Christopher Stanley, Sridhar Sena, and Vishnupriya was one of the best from the playlist. This song is from the movie ‘Lesa Lesa’ which was released in 2003. Initially, this song was sung by Harish Raghavendra and Srilekha Parthasarathy. Despite years of release, this song was still evergreen among the fans. The crowd was singing along to each and every single line of the songs.
Next, the flute part from ‘Muthal Kanave’ song did not fail to impress the crowd. Nikhil caught everyone’s eyes during the performance. He delivered that in such a perfect way with his flute. The singing of Sridhar Sena and Haripriya justified the soul of the song.
Combo of Karthik and Krish
The overwhelming fanbase for Karthik and Krish was unbelievable. The combo of singer Karthik and Krish refers to the collaboration between two prominent Indian playback singers, Karthik and Krish, in the field of music. Both artists have made significant contributions to the Indian film industry through their soulful voices and versatile singing styles. Karthik and Krish produce stunning musical creations that enthrall listeners when they work together. ‘Karu Karu Vizhigalal’, the most awaited song rocked the stage with the presence of Karthik and Krish. “Karthik and Krish’s collaboration in the song ‘Karu Karu Vizhigalal’ was an absolute masterpiece! Its seamless blend of soulful melodies and heartfelt music of Harris created an enchanting experience for the crowd. The way their voices intertwine and complement each other was truly magical. The entry of Naresh Iyer towards the ending was top-notch.
The Masterpiece Album: ‘Minnale’ and ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’
Both ‘Minnale‘ and ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ movie are evergreen movies from the collaboration of Harris Jayaraj and Gautham Vasudev Menon. All the songs from both movies would never fade from our memories. Those songs deliver a soulful connection to us even after years. Nicholas, the junior Harris presented ‘Oh Shanti‘ song from ‘Vaaranam Aayiram‘ as a pure rendition. Krish rocked his ‘Adiye Kolluthey‘. Naresh Iyer sang his version of ‘Munthinam Paarthene‘ which was still fresh. ‘Yethi Yethi‘ by Sridhar Sena, Christopher, Naresh Iyer, and Sathyaprakash, and ‘Nenjukkul Peithidum’ by Haricharan was also equally enjoyed by the fans. ‘Vaseegara’, the iconic song from ‘Minnale‘ movie caught the crowd’s eyes. GVM on the stage: The story behind ‘Anjala’
The well-known director of Tamil cinema, Gautham Vasudev Menon (GVM), appeared on the stage on the night of 4.0. Harris, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Karthik shared their moments from their journey during ‘Vaaranam Aayiram‘ movie. Initially, GVM had requested Harris for the music of ‘Tappu melam‘ as he wanted a fast-beat song and it was a breakup song. He wanted to initiate a new genre where it’s a breakup song and the penned lyrics would express the pain but the fast beat of the song would make us transform all the grief into dance. At this point, Harris suggested that the sound of ‘Tappu melam’ would never suit the classy style of GVM and instead of that, he gave him ‘Anjala’, the masterpiece celebration of pain. They introduced a very different perspective of pain in the name of the ‘celebration of pain’. A Masterpiece indeed!
The music composed by Harris Jayaraj perfectly complements the emotions conveyed in the song, with its gentle guitar strums, soft piano melodies, and the seamless fusion of Indian and Western musical elements. ‘Anjala’ is not just a song; it’s an experience. It takes you on a journey of love, memories, and the longing for a lost connection. When Karthik starts singing the song, it tugged at our heartstrings and evokes a sense of bittersweet emotions. The ‘Yaaro koodave varuvaar, yaaro paathiyil povaar..athu yaaru enna onnum namme kaiyil illaiye’ part went wild and everyone in the Axiata Arena screamed their hearts out. This song will remain a timeless gem that continues to captivate and enchant listeners, making it a standout track from the remarkable soundtrack of “Vaaranam Aayiram.”

GVM also shared about ‘Dhuruva Natchathiram‘ in 4.0. ‘Dhuruva Natchathiram’ is one of the most awaited movie directed by the great Gautham Vasudev Menon, composed by Harris Jeyaraj, and starring Chiyaan Vikram. ‘Oru manam‘ song from the movie which was sung by Karthik was ruling everyone’s playlists.

With that, Dato’ Malik came up with another exciting announcement which stunned the crowd. With much pride, he announced followed by 5.0 which will take place in Penang, the series of Hearts Of Harris will be continued with 6.0 in Singapore and 7.0 again in Kuala Lumpur.
Notably, the team of Hearts Of Harris has successfully created a World Record for organizing four series of sold out concerts in Malaysia.
