Malaysia To Host The Celebration Of 90 Years Telugu Cinema; Navatihi Utsavam 2024

Malaysia is preparing to host the magnificent Navatihi Utsavam, an extravagant event honoring Telugu cinema’s famous 90-year tradition. Expected to be a star-studded event with over 143 stars from Indian cinema and over 50 A-list celebrities in attendance. The Movie Artistes’ Association President Vishnu Manchu, Vise President Madala Ravi, Advisory of MC Entertainment Datuk P. Kamalanathan, Director General of Tourism Malaysia, Mr. Manoharan Periasamy, and Hotel Manager of Sunway Resort, Mr. Sidi M. Fikri, announced the event’s location, which is the prestigious Stadium Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur, on July 20, 2024.

The announcement was made during yesterday’s Launching event at Sunway Pyramid.This will be the event’s second launch, with the first taking place in Hyderabad on March 24, 2024, at the Park Hyatt and attended by Datuk.P.Kamalanathan, Mr.Razaidi Abdul Rahim Overseas Director of Tourism Malaysia, and Chennai.

Navatihi Utsavam 2024, an event hosted by the Movie Artist Association (MAA) of Hyderabad in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia and coordinated by local event planner MC Entertainment, has received praise from all over the world and has attracted bids from nations such as Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Qatar.

The Grand Launching of 90 years of Telugu Cinema “Navatihi Utsavam 2024”

With great pride, Tourism Malaysia presents this historic event as the official host nation.”We are thrilled to present Malaysia’s diversity and beauty to the world through Navatithi Utsavam 2024,” stated Mr. Manoharan Periasamy, Director General of Tourism Malaysia. This event represents a major turning point in our campaign to position Malaysia as a top location for films as it prepares to increase visitor numbers in advance of Visit Malaysia Year 2026.

Indian actress Nidhhi Agerwal, who mainly appears in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films, was also present and gave a heartfelt thank you for being a part of this historic celebration of 90 years of Telugu cinema. By embracing the rich cultural tapestry that both nations represent, Navatihi Utsavam in Malaysia will unite people. It will highlight the rich history of Telugu cinema in Malaysia, promoting mutual understanding and respect as well as cultural exchange.

“This occasion demonstrates the importance and appeal of Telugu cinema on a global scale,” remarked MC Entertainment Director Edwin Anand Raj.”We are honored to work alongside the Movie Artist Association and Tourism Malaysia to bring this momentous celebration to life,” he continued. The event in the famous National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Malaysia, is expected to draw over 70,000 people from both domestic and foreign locations. In commemoration of the enduring tradition of Telugu cinema, the organizers have also planned a youth engagement program and another Telugu creative workshop.

All guests at Navatihi Utsavam are cordially invited by Tourism Malaysia, which is dedicated to delivering a friendly and remarkable experience. Ticket sales begin on May 10th, and interested parties can start securing their seats at Navatihi 2024.
