Don’t Touch Me, a new song by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is an awareness song about violence against women. It is regarded as an anti-rape anthem, written in support of victim torture in conjunction with ‘The United Nations International Day.’

This song is sung by our Stylish Thamizhachi fame, Yunohoo. She is our very own Malaysian artist, also previously known as Rubba Bend.

The independent artist previously collaborated with Yuvan on the song Kaalam, which appeared in the Ajith-starrer Nerkonda Paarvai. She is one of many Malaysian artists who flew out to flourish her country’s name.

The music director stated on his Twitter account;

“We dedicate our track to all women who have faced abuse & torture”

To speak of the song, it is critical to incorporate messages like this in the form of art in order to reach the audience. It may have a meaningful impact on the audience in terms of current and real issues because our world is becoming more evil.

Every time we hear about abuse and rape against women, our hearts break. As a result, expressing feelings through art would have a profound impact on the world.

Hats off to Arivu for bringing up the truth in his lyrics, and I suppose that is what distinguishes him to other artists. To say nothing but the truth, without sugarcoating it.
