The Perak state government has reached a resolution regarding the long-standing land issues involving two Hindu temples in Ipoh, Perak that were built on government-owned land.  State Executive Councilor, Dato A. Sivanesan confirmed that a solution was agreed upon following a meeting held at the Perak State Secretariat involving the State Land Office and representatives from the temples.

The temples that were involved are the Taman Tasek Manikvasagam Temple and Taman Bintang Fahlum, Kg Simee Temple. Both temples have faced uncertainty for several years due to land ownership concerns.

Dato A. Sivanesan said the State Land Office had previously taken action against temples constructed on a government land. However, after discussions and engagement with temple management, the state government has now identified a way forward to resolve the issue orderly.
