Indeed an inspiring moment to witness young kids participating and excelling actively in competitions. Here we have a young Indian boy who snatched the limelight with his fluency and incredible success in seizing the champion title in a Malay story-telling contest.
Recently, in conjunction with the ‘Festival Semarak Ilmu peringkat pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Sentul 2023‘, SJK(T) Appar in Kuala Lumpur is one of the schools that took part in the Malay language storytelling competition. This district-level competition saw a total of 47 representatives of primary students from 47 other schools.
Bagging the champion for the competition is Sivabalan Manimaran, the young champ who was only 8 years old. The proud moment was when Sivabalan received personal congratulations from Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek, Malaysia Nanban reported.
Fadhlina presented a shield trophy along with a certificate to Sivabalan for his achievement in winning the Malay Story-Telling Contest. Meanwhile, the headmaster of SJK(T) Appar, Mala Devi said, the young man had brought pride to the school and also his parents.
Also present at the event that took place at Sentul HGH Convention Center were Deputy Director of Program and Operations of the Ministry of Education Radzita Radzi, Sentul District Education Officer Buan Nor Hayati, and various other invited dignitaries.
Congratulations on the win Sivabalan Manimaran. Wishing you more success and wins along the way.
