Malaysia’s rising Muay Thai talent, Jevesh Sree delivered a powerful performance on the international stage after securing a spectacular first-round knockout victory at the Max Muay Thai Fight event in Thailand on Friday, 13 February 2026.

The 19-year-old fighter from Ipoh wasted no time asserting his dominance inside the ring. Facing Thailand’s Petchsingthong on his home soil, Jevesh showcased composure, aggression and technical precision that belied his young age.

The fight came to a dramatic end when Jevesh executed a perfectly timed spinning elbow that landed flush on his opponent’s face. The impact was decisive, forcing the referee to immediately halt the contest in the opening round.

Competing in Thailand widely regarded as the global heartland of Muay Thai and defeating a local fighter adds significant weight to the victory. The Max Muay Thai platform is known for hosting high-intensity fights featuring both Thai and International athletes, making it a valuable proving ground for emerging fighters.

His explosive finish and confident performance have further strengthened his position as one of Malaysia’s most promising Muay Thai athlete. At just 19, Jevesh is already demonstrating the skill set, ring intelligence and finishing ability required to make an impact beyond national borders.

As Malaysian combat sports continue to gain momentum regionally, victories like this not only elevate individual athletes but also shine a spotlight on the country’s growing presence in Muay Thai.
