The Negeri Sembilan State Education Department (JPNNS) brought teachers and school staffs from 4 Tamil schools through the first series of it’s ‘Ask the Director’ programme, creating a space for open discussions on issues and challenges faced by the school community.
The session involved teachers and members of the Implementation Group (AKP) from SJKT Bandar Sri Sendayan, SJKT Ladang Cairo, SJKT Tun Sambanthan and SJKT Nilai Impian.

Led by Negeri Sembilan Education Director Puan Khalidah binti Haji Omar, the programme took place in a open and friendly setting, allowing those who present to communicate directly with the state education leadership.
During the session, Khalidah shared Negeri Sembilan’s education goals. At the same time, teachers and AKP members were given the opportunity to raise their views, suggestions and challenges based on their experiences at the school level.

According to JPNNS, direct discussion as this programme is important as it allows education officials to understand the actual needs of schools better. By listening to those working closely with students everyday, issues can be identified more clearly and solutions can be discussed.
The Ask the Director programme also aims to build strong communication and closer relationships between education management and school communities.

JPNNS thanked all teachers and AKP members who took part and openly shared their opinions during the session. Through programmes like this, the department hopes to continue creating a direct link between education leaders and schools, while ensuring that the well-being and needs of students are still a priority.
