Submissions Now Open for Two International Film Festivals

The Apricot Tree International Documentary Film Festival and the Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival are two upcoming platforms that are currently seeking submissions that centre on diverse perspectives and new perceptions on wide-ranging ideas from anthropology to the pluralism of society. More information about the two events are listed below.

Apricot Tree International Documentary Film Festival

The Apricot Tree International Documentary Film Festival is seeking anthropological and ethnographic documentary submissions from filmmakers.

Date:

  • Aug. 24 – 31, 2024

Categories

  • Feature-length films (45 minutes or more)
  • Short-length films (under 45 minutes)

* Films must include English subtitles.

Awards:

  • Winners will receive prizes and diplomas.

Submission deadline:

  • May 15, 2024
Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival

The Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival is seeking films that centre on the diversity of ethnic, religious, and national communities.

Date:

  • July 7 – 14, 2024

Categories:

  • International feature and documentary full-length films
  • Short Armenian films

Awards:

  • Trophies: “Golden Apricot” and “Silver Apricot”

Submission Fees

  • Full-length section: US$30
  • Short films: US$10

Submission deadline:

  • May 1, 2024
