Kashmira Pardeshi has been roped in to play the lead in this entertainer which will be directed by debut director Ramanan Purushothama. Rajesh Murgesan, who had set the tunes for films like Neram and Premam, has been roped in to compose music for this flick.
The film is bankrolled by Rajani Telluri and Reshmi Simha under the banners SRT Entertainments and Mudhra’s Film Factory. It is going to be a high budget film and grand sets have been erected for shooting some scenes.
Also, the team will be camping in Chennai and Munnar to can a major portion of the film.The film has music by Rajesh Murugesan and cinematographer Sunil SK cranking the camera for this project. Also, the editor of movies like Iraivi and Petta, Vivek Harshan, who also won the National award for Jigarthanda, will be handling the cuts of this movie.
Bobby Simah’s first release of the year was Petta, in which he shared screen space with superstar Rajinikanth. He later went on to do Agni and Edaina Jaragocchu. He currently has Seerum Puli in his kitty where he plays the late LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran. Directed by Venkatesh Kumar, the film will be bankrolled under the banner Studio 18. He has also bagged an important role in the magnum opus Indian 2. Directed by S Shankar, the film has Kamal Haasan playing the lead.
He also has an upcoming Telugu movie Disco Raja starring Ravi Teja, in which he will be seen playing a character named Burma Sethu. The film is directed by Vi Anand of Oka Kshanam and Ekadiki Pothavu Chinnavada fame. Three leading ladies viz. Nabha Natesh, Payal Rajput and Priyanka Jawalkar have been roped in to share the screen space with Ravi Teja. Allari Naresh has been roped in to play an important role in the film. Impressed over the way his character has been shaped up, Allari Naresh agreed to join the star cast, confirm sources.
