Dhanush will be acting as a politician for his upcoming film with director Shekhar Kammula. The film is said to be inspired by true political events, and the award-winning actor will reprise the role of a significant political figure. This film will reportedly also see the famous Telugu actor Nagarjuna play a vital role in it.
Dhanush had previously acted as a politician for his film Kodi, which gained a lot of positive reviews, especially for both Dhanush and Trisha’s captivating performances in their roles as rival romantic politicians. Dhanush had also played a dual role in the film by portraying two brothers with opposing mannerisms.
Dhanush’s upcoming release is his period action adventure film titled Captain Miller, which is directed by Arun Matheswaran and has music composed by G. V. Prakash. The film has a stellar cast of Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, and many more talented actors.
The actor will also be stepping into his directorial venture for the second time in his other upcoming film, titled D50. Dhanush’s directorial debut was the critically acclaimed film Pa Paandi, which starred veteran actors Raj Kiran and Revathi.
