Malaysian DJ Nesh passed away on the 28th of December 2019. He was 43.

Born Naresh Manonmani, DJ Nesh was believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest that led to his demise.

His house mate Terence Paul, was with Nesh when he drew his last breath.

“Nesh had just gone for his workout. We had a chat about the event that he was supposed to DJ at that night, and he suddenly began sweating profusely,” said Paul to web portal Twentytwo13.my.

Nesh said he was fine and just needed something to eat. As Paul was sending Nesh to the LRT station for his gig that evening at Marini’s on 57, the deceased was said to have vomited and passed out. “I rushed him to the hospital but it was too late,” said Paul.

Nesh was a popular name at Petaling Jaya bar DV8 in the 90s. He went on to spin at many clubs in Malaysia and abroad, including those in Taipei and Perth.
