The government’s Special Assistance Counters (BKK) will be opened by the Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) for appeals application that were previously rejected for aid under Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR) starting from today (15th June) onwards.

LHDN in a statement said that the counters were open for each state and through appointments from 8am to 12pm.

The agency further stated;

“The MYSejahtera application is also limited to low-risk individuals. Customers have to comply with the SOPs set, such as scanning the MySejahtera application, always wearing face masks, checking one’s body temp and adhering to physical distancing.”

BPR-related inquiries can be directed to the BKK line at 1800-88-2747 which will be open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Finance minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz announced yesterday starting from 15th till 30th June, the call time period would be open for BPR applicants that have yet to get their assistance approved.

Meanwhile, LHDN in the statement said only businesses for the Branch Stamp Office remained open to customers and Individual Duty Payers who could not register as users of the Stamp Assessment And Payment System (STAMPS) as stipulated since the implementation of Movement Control Order 3.0.

The working hours in every state would be based on working days, from 8am to 12pm. Its payment centres in Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching are reported to remain in operation from 8am to 12 noon from Monday to Friday.

The Call Centre and Live chats would run LHDN’s Hasil Care Line as usual between 9am and 5pm, from Monday through Friday, while the headquarters lines and the branches are currently shut down.

LHDN urged clients to check the list of its branches and offices that have been temporarily closed in order to avoid problems before heading to any premises.
